Poetry Friday 3

For audio click here

This is a story of mine turned into a poem.
Seagulls Fighting for Food
Blurs of white, yellow, grey.
Beaks, wings, feathers,
screeching, yelling
The battlecry of the hungry.
Then flight to safety,
to feed on the morsels
they've won

in their cheese sandwich
tug of war.

Infidelity
The way she looks
at me says:
if I wasn’t with him,
I’d be with you.
But she is with him,
so I
have to make do
with the infidelity
in her eyes.

The Micro poetry society asked for  tweet length poetry with the title Sound. here is my effort.

#sound
the noise a Liverpudlian makes
to let us know
all is good.
